Multimedia Education Factors

On this particular blog I will be using my video posted before as a reference in order to identify the factors that were taught in a particular subject that I am taking.

Affective - It shows a beautiful example which could move the hearts of the viewers.

Cognitive - The statement can be easily understood by the viewers.

Coherence - Shows two images without anything else, without added decorations, and the explanation is already being narrated.

Embodiment - The figure on the screen embodies humanlike facial expressions while also maintaining eye contact which will hold the viewer's attention.

Image - Shows a knight on screen when the narrator uses a knight as an example.

Modality - Shows both graphics and text on screen.

Multimedia - Incorporates graphics in order to reinforce the image into the viewer's mind.

Personalization - The screen text addresses the viewer directly, which will keep their attention.

Pre-training and Contiguity - The image on screen is already well-known amongst the multimedia community, while the labels are directed onto the part it indicates.

Psychomotor - It can be easily understood by the viewers which in turn can help them easily execute the actions.

Redundancy - The on screen text does not repeat with the narrator, but simply puts the main idea onto the screen.

Segmenting - Uses title cards to separate the segments which make the information easier to understand by the viewer.

Signalling - Emphasizes that the figure on screen is "WRONG"

Voice - The whole video has been narrated by a human voice in a rather controlled environment with minimal background noise.
